An npm package that generates weeks of realistic, Ring-shaped household events with drift you can inject, and replays them signed exactly like Ring signs its webhooks, because the Ring Developer Playground emits none.
Problem
Event-driven Ring apps need weeks of realistic events to test against, and the Ring Developer Playground has no sensors, no event history and no webhook delivery.
Approach
A deterministic generator of one household's routine with presets (normal, drift, away, missed morning, offline, demo), and a replayer that signs each payload with HMAC-SHA256 the way Ring does.
Results
Published as ring-routine-sim 0.1.0 on npm with zero runtime dependencies and CI on Node 20, 22 and 24; it drives every Jirani test and demo.
