Software that holds up
on a busy afternoon.

I'm Gregory, a software engineer in Nairobi, most recently Chief Software Engineer at Webtech, and a Software Engineering student at USIU, class of 2027. I build impactful systems that organisations run their day on: trust accounting for a law firm, operations for a flower farm, bookings for a safari operator, a point of sale that keeps selling offline.

I started out teaching kids to code at Somo Africa in 2023. Since then I've shipped marketplaces, finance apps, a database engine written from scratch, and systems that real businesses open every morning, while still sitting exams at USIU. I care about the unglamorous parts: the rule enforced in four places, the sale that syncs exactly once, the default that fails safe.
